Why did you choose to work as a PAM? Don’t worry, you can pick more than 10 words this time… :)
I think that becoming a PAM was a very natural process for me. I have worked in the channel for the past 20 years. And I have gone through multiple tasks, mainly in Distribution, but also at a Vendor company. But all of these roles had one thing in common. I have always worked and loved to work with partners and interact with the people.
You’re walking into a bar full of your current, but also potential partners. Everyone seems to be having a great time. What’s the first thing that you do?
I’d definitely go and say “hi” to my current partners and chat with them for a moment, but I wouldn’t take long to introduce myself and start interacting with the potential partners as well. After that I would order a beer from the bar. And if any partner, current or a potential one, happens to sit next to me, I would probably ask if they are fine and what would they like to have from the bar as well – if it’s a business related event. ;)
