The list is based on detailed applications submitted by more than 200 vendors, outlining all aspects of their partner programs. The evaluation is based on a range of criteria including partner incentives, margins and discounts, partner profitability, sales and marketing assistance, and subscription- and consumption-based pricing availability. The criteria also includes sales leads, deal registration, pre- and post-sales support, training and education offerings, specializations and technical certifications.
Among these 200 vendors, CRN magazine recognizes an elite subset of partner programs that offer key partnering elements. These are the 5-Star Partner Program, and we’re thrilled to say that the Extreme Partner Program has been awarded this title for the 8th consecutive year! We’re adding it to the growing pile of awards from CRN, which also includes “2020 Products of the Year” award for ExtremeCloud IQ and a place among the ”25 Hottest IT Infrastructure and Cloud Companies of 2020”.

We've seen a transformation as more and more partners have embraced our cloud-based networking solutions which has resulted in a 20% sequential growth of new subscription bookings of ExtremeCloud IQ.
What goals are we setting for our program in 2021?
We intend to focus on migrating partners to cloud solutions, improving partner profitability, and encouraging partners to sell a broader part of our portfolio. We also plan to continue leading the industry effort to grow the networking-as-a-service model and help more partners become MSPs.
