There’s no ignoring it: 5G is here to stay. On May 26-27, more than 200 professionals and decision-makers from the IT industry will get together to discuss networking in a 5G world during the 10th edition of MORE-IP of AMS-IX. Our VP Service Provider Engineering and Product Management Dan DeBacker from Extreme will talk about next generation, composable, scalable infrastructures!
5G is the first generation of networks that can be delivered natively in the cloud, which can pose challenges for operators and providers. Their services must be impeccable because 5G has large impact on new mobile use-cases and business services. 5G networks also generate large amounts of data. It is extremely important for operators to properly understand and manage all that data in order to provide crucial service.
Breakout network of the future
During MORE-IP, Dan DeBacker will speak on behalf of Extreme Networks in a breakout session about the future of networking in a 5G world. Dan will take participants on a journey to gain valuable insights on how 5G requires a paradigm shift in networking. The new network, based on a cloud-native, programmable infrastructure and fully API driven, has built-in continuous monitoring and validation, to enable automated network and tenant provisioning.
Dan will also speak about how Extreme Networks solutions leverage a microservices-based composable network architecture to provide visibility and deliver the scalability that is needed for the most demanding service provider networks in the world.
