I have always been selling products via channels so for me it’s a quite natural way to collaborate with partners and improve both their and our business. It’s not only efficient to make business with partners but it’s also more fun to share the success with all the great people around you!
You’re walking into a bar full of your current, but also potential partners. Everyone seems to be having a great time. What’s the first thing that you do?
I hug the people I know well, ask about their family, talk about the last time we had fun together. I’d probably let myself go with the flow of things and order a first drink which would be whatever others are having. Preferably vodka soda. As far as the pitch is concerned, well it really depends who am I having that drink with, right? But I’d probably start with some cool story that happened to me and someone from his or her team. :)
